AIGA Design Student Conference 2012

Noriko Yuasa, Associate Professor of Art and twenty graphic design students from Webster University attended the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) Design Student Conference on Saturday, February 25 at Maryville University in St. Louis. Senior graphic design students, Ryan Darnall, Ian Dickend, Nicki Gelineau, Nicholas Heilig, Alyssa Merz, and Karina Tiller, had and opportunity to exhibit their portfolios to design professionals. Webster students recieved significant and very positive feedback from porfessionals and professors from other schools. It was an important networking opportunity Senior graphic design students, Ryan Darnall, Ian Dickens, Nicki Gelineau, Nicholas Heilig, Alyssa Merz, and Karina Tiller, had an opportunity to exhibit their portfolios to design professionals.Webster students received significant and very positive feedback from professionals and professors from other schools. It was an important networking opportunity for graduating seniors. 

Prior to this event, Webster graphic design students were asked to develop theme and promotional materials for the conference. Ian Dickens’ concept and design work was selected by AIGA event chairs, Jane Nagel from Toky Branding + Design and  Antionette Carroll from Stages St. Louis.
