ARHS 2000 02 – Florence in the Renaissance
Spring Break in Florence, Italy!
This art history course offers students an introduction to the art, architecture, and culture of the Italian Renaissance (1300-1600) in Florence. This class is taught entirely on-site by Professor Ryan E Gregg, Ph.D., a specialist in the subject, the course consists of daily visits to churches, museums, and palaces. Emphasis is placed on understanding artworks within their original cultural and historical context. so that students learn about the Renaissance while enjoying the city in which is started.
